Personal Coaches
A Personal Coach will work with young people and their schools. They are part of the Learning, Skills and Employment Service. They will give mentoring and careers guidance to Children Looked After in Year 11.
The Personal Coach helps and supports young people. They will help them to identify and work towards their future education goals. They will help arrange visits and applications to colleges and universities.
They also provide a link between young people and employers. This includes apprenticeship and training providers. All the services involved in the young person’s development will work together. They will support each young person towards opportunities that they are interested in.
