Become - 0800 023 2033 You can ring this number Monday - Friday 10:30am - 3pm. This is a charity that helps to improve the care system and support young people.

Family Lives - 0808 800 2222 This number offers support to anyone in a parenting role with a parenting problem.  The number can be called Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm, and Weekends 10am-3pm)

MyMind - 0800 145 6485 For advice in a mental health crisis, or for mental health support.

National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) - 0808 808 1001 This charity offer a number of rights based services such as advocacy, independent visitors for children in care, legal representation for children, and advocacy to in-patients in mental health settings.

Samaritans - 116 123 For someone to talk to if you or someone you know is thinking about suicide.

The Mix - 0808 808 4994  This number provides free non-judgemental legal advice and support for young people under the age of 25.

CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) - Advice about what mental health support can be offered.

Capstone Care Leavers' Trust - This website offers advice and guidance to young people to help reduce their experience of social exclusion and enhance their life chances.  They can also supply grants.

Care to Learn - This offers funding and support for young parents aged 19 or under that are studying.

Catch 22 - Support for care leavers in the move to independence.

Coram Voice - They help to make sure you know your rights, and can offer advocacy to make sure your voice is heard.

Kooth - Mental health support and advice for young people.

Propel - Advice on what support you can get applying for college or university as a care leaver.

Shelter - This charity offers housing advice on issues such as homelessness, renting, deposits, council housing, eviction, and repairs.
