Advocacy
If you want someone to speak up for you we can arrange for you to have an advocate. They work for you and only you and make sure your voices and wishes are heard, understood and respected.
Children’s rights
We want you to know your rights so you know they are being met. We all have rights and responsibilities to respect the rights of others. Laws, such as the Children Act 1989, make sure that you are treated fairly.
Involvement and participation
We will make it easy for you to get involved in decision making and provide you with all the information you may need to do so.
Consultation
Your views are important to us so we want to hear them regularly and use them to make decisions about things like new staff and activities.
Activities
We want you to take part in activities that you enjoy and are important to you through schemes like Step Into Leisure and Access to Leisure.
