Article 39: Change through advocacy!

Article 39, a charity which fights for the rights of children, are hosting various events during their Change Through Advocacy week 13 - 17 May 2024. 

They will be celebrating each day the power and impact of advocacy on children and young people's lives with a selection of free online events. Each day there will be multiple sessions on different topics that you can get involved in. 

Events include:

Introduction to children's rights and advocacy  

A dedicated training course for children and young people, running through the basics of children’s rights and having an advocate. Interactive and fun, everyone is welcome whether you like to join in discussions or sit back and take things easy.

Rights night: Your advocacy, your rights, your life.

A safe space for children and young people to hear about your right to have an advocate, and how you are the boss when it comes to advocacy. Time also for you to share any ideas you have about making sure every child and young person gets help when they need it.
